So I was asked by the organizers to cosplay Frost-chan, the mascot character for a Finnish anime convention called Desucon Frostbite. (You can see a picture of the character in here: [link]
About making the cosplay:
I was super nervous about the whole thing for the whole time. Luckilly almost everything turned out just fine. I was able to find the perfect fabric in terms of both colour and texture, and I'm also very happy with the colour of the wig. The actual making of the costume was pretty time-consuming. Mostly because I suck at many basic things and had to redo them many times. the shoes... Well, they look good when I'm not wearing them, or when I am just sitting while wearing them. When I stand and move, that weird shape doesn't hold still. Maybe I'll figure out a way to make it work and still be comfortable some day.
My favorite part to make was that ahoge thing on the wig (oh something to do with wigs, how surprising lol). I'm happy how I managed it to be narrow at the starting point and get thicker only for the midle part. And how the fiber actually goes on a straight line on contrary to being rolled on in circles over the wire. I think it gives it a more natural look. Yeah, I know most of you think that's a pretty pontless thing and it's not actually that great... But it's my favorite part!<3 Gonna use this method again as soon as I get the chance.
Sorry it's not a character from any actual series~
